Mehofer
The Mehofer family has farmed their estate in Neudeggerhof for over 300 years. In 1992, they became one of the first wineries in the area to convert to 100% ORGANIC production. 10th generation winemaker Stephan Mehofer goes beyond organic methods, dry farming the vineyards and encouraging biodiversity. No pesticides are used and few interventions utilized in the cellar, using no additives and only lightly fining or filtering. Their buildings are designed to prioritize local and renewable resources and encourage biodiversity in their vineyards and gardens.
